Spent four days in Iceland recently... mainly in Reykjavik. Went on day trips around the Golden Circle and the Blue Lagoon... main reason was to see the Northern Lights. Alas, it was cloudy but did manage to see some green patches and some quite impressive white rays... as the guide said, 'Dancing lights'.

Celebs...
Was at the Museum of Everything on Saturday and saw:
1. Mark Owen with his family (2 kids plus partner)... in case the name didn't click... it's Mark from Take That... remember, the boyband from the 90s now having a massive revival?
2. John Galliano... he was with two male friends and looked amazing. His outfit was not OTT- he had a brown hat, dark coat with his usual trademark moustache and long hair BUT he smelled amazing. I wasn't stalking him, but he walked past me and I had a whiff of his cologne/perfume. Although his outfit wasn't very attention-grabbing, but he definitely had a great presence.
The Museum of Everything is showing an exhibition of Peter Blake's private collection of outsider art objects. It's part circus/cabinet of curiosity/art exhibition. Very cool and fun.

Vanessa Paradi's gig at Koko
Twas a lovely night and the venue was brilliant. It was an accoustic set and her band was great- composed of a string quartet, a drummer, a bass guitarist and another guitarist-cum-keyboard player who also did the arrangements for the songs (he was soooo good).
